Who we are

GAMEFEX (gamefex.com) buys and sells in-game gold. This policy explains what data the platform keeps, what we use it for and who else receives it.

Your account

If you sign up with email and password, we keep your name, your email and your password, hashed: we never see it.

If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us. If you sign in with or connect Discord, Discord shares your ID, username, avatar and email. We never see your Google or Discord password.

To keep your session secure we store, for each sign-in, the IP address and browser you signed in from.

Your tickets

When you open a ticket we keep the game, the amount, your form answers (server, region…), the payment or payout method you chose, the price at that moment and the messages of the conversation.

Each ticket is handled in a private channel of our Discord server. The GAMEFEX team sees your name, email and order there; your web messages are posted in that channel with your name and picture.

Cookies and browser storage

We use one cookie to keep you signed in and others to remember your language, your currency and whether the sidebar is open. Your browser also keeps the games you viewed recently. The platform uses no advertising or analytics cookies.

Who we share data with

Only the services that run the platform: Discord (where tickets are handled), Resend (sends confirmation and password reset emails), Neon (our database), Cloudflare (network and files), Netlify (hosts the website) and our server, which runs the API. Google and Discord receive the sign-in request when you choose to sign in with them.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Google user data

The data we receive from Google (name, email and picture) is only used to create your account, identify you when you sign in, and show your name and picture on the platform and in your tickets. We do not transfer it to third parties other than the services above, which need it to work, and we do not use it for advertising.

GAMEFEX's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

Your account, for as long as you have it. Your tickets and their messages, as the record of each trade. If you delete your account we delete your sign-in data; records of completed trades may be kept where the law requires it or to resolve claims.
